Software quality modeling and controlling in the Quamoco project
Employees of itestra GmbH, together with the Technical University of Munich, initiated a project with renowned partners, funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, to find answers to the simple but important question of when software is “good”.
Over a period of three years, itestra worked together with experts from TU Munich, JKU Linz, Fraunhofer IESE, Siemens, iABG, Capgemini and SAP in the QuaMoCo consortium on methods and tools for modeling software quality and investigated various aspects of software quality.
- Three-year research project in a consortium of well-known companies and partners
- Quality model with Eclipse-based graphical editor
- Base model based on ISO 25010
- 200 Q-factors and 600 metrics
- Tool chain for code analysis and model evaluation
- Empirical validation based on three scenarios
