You’re the technical anchor on the project team. As a Technology Expert at itestra, you bring deep knowledge in one or more technologies and apply it to drive the most complex modernization projects to success. You work at the intersection of code, architecture, and strategy.

What to Expect

• Technical leadership – You own the technical quality of your projects and make architecture decisions at the code level.
• Deep analysis – You conduct Health Checks and code analyses that go beyond surface-level metrics.
• Modernization strategy – You develop incremental migration paths for legacy systems – from COBOL/mainframe to modern cloud architectures.
• Mentoring – You support less experienced team members and build technical knowledge within the team.
• Innovation – You evaluate new technologies and tools for use in our projects.

What You Bring

• Several years of professional experience in software development or modernization
• Deep expertise in at least one technology stack (e.g., Java/Spring, .NET, Python, cloud-native)
• Experience with complex enterprise systems and their modernization
• Ability to communicate technical matters clearly to different audiences
• Good German and English skills
